 Banana Tikki
Serves 4 Cooking time (approximately): 10 minutes
~Ingredients
3 raw bananas 2 medium-size onions, finely chopped 3 green chillies, finely chopped 2 pieces of ginger, crushed 5 tbsp oil Salt to taste
~Method
Peel and boil the raw bananas. Mash it well.
Add onion, green chillies and ginger.
Add salt and mix well.
Make small balls, flatten and shape like cutlets.
Shallow fry in oil.
Serve hot with tomato sauce.
Health counter: You can also put these tikkis in any vegetable curry. Rich in iron, banana tikkis are much less fattening than their potato counterparts.
