Better Off Alone

I feel so much better when I'm all alone,
I feel so together when I'm on my own,
No one can tell me what to do,
No one can tell me what to say.

I hate being around people,
They always bring me down,
I wish they would just go away,
Then maybe I would be okay.

My life is so screwed up,
And no one understands,
They don't know the pain I feel,
Nor do they care.

But I guess I'm better off alone,
Things are just better this way,
I'm free to do what I want to,
And not what others say.
