It has been an amazing year for Gisele Bundchen, given her springtime wedding to Tom Brady. And it just got even better - she's pregnant.

The Brazilian babe has announced that she and her hubby are expecting, and that the sure-to-be-adorable baby will arrive sometime early next year.

An inside source told press, "Gisele will be an excellent mother. She's always wanted kids." The source also noted that Bundchen is absolutely "ecstatic."

Gisele recently revealed, "Family is everything. I think family is the base to everything. I think that is one of the things I'm most grateful for. I have a lot to be grateful for but I think that's definitely number one."

And a friend of the couple shared, "You know Gisele and Tom are just enjoying themselves, being married and just doing their thing ... Gisele has been talking about it with friends. She says she's ready for a family."
