my pc is been hangin' time to time from d last 2 dayz.. i open it changed ram slots remove dirt 4m dem.. also remove dirt from processor.. bt it hvnt helped me out.. nw i hv remove d cabinet cover nd nw itz in workin' condition.. bt when i fix cabinet cover it hangs..
Is it would b SMPS problem..?
bt nw when i started my pc it was showin' incorrect time i.e jan 1 2002..
is dere sum prob wid battery cell..?

I think ur processor is heating up.. Remove the Fan of the processor and take the processor out of the motherboard.. make sure You put the processor in the right way into the motherboard...

no buddy m nt maintaining any lab.. itz my personal desktop nd i hv already removed n fixed processor.. bt it hvnt worked out.. after removin' cabinet cover the rate of hangin' has came down bt i guess still itz nt a appropriate solution.. is it would b smps prob or is it could b battery prob of motherboard..? i guess it would b case of over heating bt i think in case of over heating when system restarts it shows a message like system was previousle shutdown due to thermal event.. bt it is nt showin' any message.. buddy dnt wrry m yet a student m nt a professional nd i knw u r a professional nd u'll nt help me incase m a professional i knw dis coz i hv gone through various posts in dis technical column..

Can u tell me exactly how much time ur pc remain up b4 hanging... that might help me to resolve ur issue...
& Last time when ur pc was working fine.. what software & hardware changes u made..

when it hangs sumtime it shows a blank screen nd sumtimes it just stop working.. nthin' work 4 me at dat time.. so at dat time i turn off my pc from itz power button or from main power switch.. even after startin' again it remains in hangin' position.. i den restart it again n again and i also press rams motherboard cell hard disk power cables nd it starts.. it was workin in brilliant condition jst 3 dayz ago.. i hvnt made any software or hardware change.. and nw u hv becum my mentor so tell me wt u r doin' n wt u hv done..? i thought u r a professional..
