Hayden Panettiere Gets Her Politics On

2008 is a big year for American politics. We've got the Presidential elections coming up in November, and as far as celebrities go, Hayden Panettiere is one of the most active, politically.

The Heroes babe was spotted in Los Angeles, California yesterday doing a little grocery shopping at her local Whole Foods store. The environmentally-friendly actress even said 'no' to paper or plastic, opting for reusable grocery bags.

And fresh off her trip to Washington DC, Hayden says she's trying to figure out which Presidential candidate is going to put their money where their mouth is regarding Saving the Whales Again.

She told press, "You know, I haven't really picked who I'm going to support yet. I have spoken to Barack about the whales and the situation going on there, and I asked him his views on it, and he grew up in Hawaii. He's got a very wonderful outlook on it. Hopefully later on, [I'm] having a phone call with the McCain party and also in the midst of contacting the Clinton party. I'll hopefully be hearing from them on the whole situation and what they're willing to do to stop it."
