A very big hello from yours truly!! I am Vikram Shankar Mathur from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. I am an accounting, auditing and computerisation professional, though many of you will not have heard much about me, especially as a majority of you people will be from outside of the fraternity of Chartered Accountants of Ahmedabad, who in any case know me as a person who has always been interested in computerisation and by the way, also know me as Deadly VBA Programmer. Why so? Simple, because what I can achieve in the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) which has always been a part of Microsoft Excel since version Office'95 is something which I cannot even begin to explain in a few words!! Suffice to say that I ama great proponent of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) since the days that I used to program macros in Lotus 1-2-3 and Clipper 5.2, which began sometime in 1995 and has carried on well into today, 2007. Twelve years of selective programming has rendered me a truly Deadly VBA Programmer, who has left things like PayMenu, SalMenu, SaralNew and many such softwares in it's wake.

So we have one more person added in Accounting zone here .. ofcourse you will meet a lot .. but i bet no one of them can beat you in your technical skills ...
VBA .. hmm.. i learned something during my bachelor's degree..
Lotus 1-2-3 .. I hate that ... ofcourse.. whatever company do i work for .. but i like microsoft and google products.. no offense please...
Clipper 5.2, PayMenu,SalMenu etc etc... all are going over my head now .. afterall i am not an accountant .. and also don't have any knowledge about them .. but i will try to learn them all from you ..

We have Financial literacy section in FP .. We wud like to hear more from you into that section .. also many of other sections are built just for fun, information and other activities.. hope you will contribute into them all ..
