m a new member nd thanx alot 2 u all there...i work as a customs officer nd we use computers with usernames nd passwords then we can login. most of the staffs hav got internet access but i dnt hav nd when i wana connect to the internet it says u dnt hav priviledge or requires administrator login. is there anyway that i can use internet nd connect to it without our administrator or IT gang catching me. i dnt knw much abt computers in depth so pliz xplain me step by step.
pliz dosto help karo yaar nd currently m using my frends access for internet.

Where do u get this error message about you dont have authentication to use Internet? And what kind of privileges the other users have... like how they access Internet… Do they use proxy or NAT services?

see idnt knw much abt computers but m telling u some informatn. we all hav different usernames nd passwords to hav logins nd after few weeks hav 2 change our passwords coz it expires. our administrator has all the priviledges nd he can connect to internet but when we brows it says page could not be displayed. when we wana connect to internet using internet connection wizard, it says u r not a member of administrator group or u dnt hav privilidges to connect.

my frend who has gt internet is like this,when we go internet properties, then

Lan settings,
automatic detec settings is ticked,
use automatic configuration script is ticked,
adress: http://10.0.1.254

then proxy server,
use proxy server for your lan is ticked,
address: 10.0.1.254 port 8080
bypass proxy server for local address ie: our local intranet within the company nd we all hav access to this intranet where circulars nd other stuffs come.

for internet only some people hav got it otherwise we just hav normal emails nd intranet.
even if we wana enable sound it requires admin login or access other wise access is denied.

This means ur Administrator has created global Group policy object to maintain security.. its tricky to bypass this security.. will look into it.. and definately let u know
