Little sun-touched hands
reaching up
to caress raindrops.

Eyes full of wonder,
lips parted
in an innocent smile
as the droplets
roll
off of his hand.

Eager to learn
about this world,
seeing and feeling
everyday things
for the first time.

So innocent,
so precious and young;
