Jennifer Garner vs. Claire Danes: Battle On Broadway

If you've ever been to New York City, you know there are tons of things to do. The only problem is having enough time to see and do everything. And two Broadway shows are pulling out all the stops to help ensure that you stop by and see them.

Jennifer Garner and Claire Danes are starring in their own Broadway musicals. And producers are hoping that hiring big names will bring in big draws at the box office.

Garner is playing "Roxane" in the 1800s story "Cyrano de Bergerac." And she has a little help in the star power department. Kevin Kline is playing the part of "Cyrano" complete with prosthetic nose (remember the Steve Martin film "Roxanne"?). The show is set to open November 1st at the Richard Rogers Theatre.

Meanwhile, down the street Claire Danes is doing her thing as "Eliza Doolittle" in "Pygmalion." The "My So-Called Life" hottie has definitely refined her craft for Broadway, and has been drawing crowds to the American Airlines Theatre since the show opened this past Friday.
