The "You Were Meant For Me" songstress looked incredible in a purple two-piece bathing suit as she smiled for the paparazzi.

In a recent interview, Jewel told press that she feels sorry for the younger generation of performers who have fallen into the drugs/drinking scene.

"I think the young artists push themselves too hard. I can't imagine dealing with the pressure and scrutiny they deal with on a daily basis. Whether you're a small artist or a phenomenon, nothing's easy, nothing's free.''
