without culture we have no diversity... cultural differences are there because we all are different and think we corner the market in certain areas. if some think that a ritual of things bring possitive energy or spirits then so be it. we all do not believe nor will we but different cultures express the same things different. is the price of the bed worth it ... fine artwork and personal expression is put into everything that's made .. but I wouldn't pay 1000 to 10,000s for a bed. for me its comfortability that counts and all the rest is not even thought of.
