Lost Hopes

Once there was a girl,
her ambitions were so high
just a kid was she
but wanted to touch the sky.

Carrying those dreams,
inside her innocent eyes
she moved on and on.....
to end up into endless cries.

She tried hard
and she worked day and night,
but just like a flash of light
her dreams broken,totally out of sight.

She cried and she cried
while she was all alone
no one did she find to turn to
why the hell was she born..??

Now with a heart so heavy
she tried hiding her pains from the world
smiling all the time...so quite..
her feelings all drowned and churned.

But one day a beam of light
just a faded one she saw
boosting her hopes once again
her future in her mind did she draw.

She had forgotten
happines was her biggest woe,
it came...knocked...and went away
once again leaving her with broken hopes
with a broken heart
and tears in those silent eyes
and that faded smile....hiding her cries.....!!
