When my friend connected his lappy and mobile using data cable, Nokia PC suit automatically detects and establish connection and shows "connected using 3G" ..yesterday he tried to change some connection settings (maximum speed related) and got 921. Kbps speed ..altough download speed was very low .. but its good for surfing only ..

which one gives more .. 3G or EDGE ..? Service provider has only GPRS activated for his connection , not EDGE ..

In SE we have to create a connection by ourself using mobile networking wizard, I think that is the reason i cudn't see EDGe/3G coz i don't have them in my 750 ..

In India except Mumbai Orange & Airtel Operator All other operator giving Edge in Bigger Cities and GPRS class base 10 in most of the Operating circles.. In GPRS class base 10 maximum download speed can be 80 kbps (10 kb download) to 120 kbps (15 kb dowload)... In edge speed can be more than 256 kbps.. depend on ur phone n network congestion.. But both r dialup network....In 3g(UMTS) that mobile broadband.. speed can be variant depend on ur plan..
