It's that time of the year when people spend time with their loved ones and make merry. And as one enjoys the holidays, we give you a list of the best Christmas Movies that could make your holiday season complete.

1. Home Alone

Story: Kevin McAllister, an eight year old boy is left at home by his parents, when they leave with the rest of the family for Christmas holidays to Paris. At first he seems to enjoy living alone, having a pizza all to himself, jumping on his parent's bed and making a mess, but after a while he understands that things aren't so easy; especially when two robbers decide to break in his house on Christmas Eve. But the smart Kevin is all geared up to protect his house. How he prevents the burglars from breaking in forms the hilarious part of the movie.

2. Polar Express

Story: Santa Claus does not exist. Or does he? Wondering about the existence of Santa Claus, a young boy lies in his bed hoping to hear the sound of reindeer bells from Santa's sleigh. But what he hears is a steam engine's roar and whistle from outside his window.

The conductor invites him on board a magical train. The train is headed towards the North Pole to Santa Claus' home. There are many other pajama-clad children in the train already. He receives an extraordinary gift that only those who still believe in Santa can experience.

3. Sleepless in Seattle

Story: Sam Baldwin has lost his wife to cancer. He and his son Jonah move to Seattle to make a fresh start. On Christmas evening, Jonah persuades his father to go with him on air on national radio to talk about how much he misses his wife. Thousands of women around the country, touched by Sam's story, send him letters.

One letter is from Annie Reed, a journalist. Jonah likes Annie's letter and sets on to set his father and Annie up. The movie tells the story of how one radio show on a Christmas evening brings love and happiness in the life of three people - Jonah, Sam and Annie.

4. Serendipity

Story: Jonathan Trager and Sara Thomas meet while their Christmas shopping for gloves in New York. Jon wanted to explore things further but Sara wasn't sure their love was meant to be.

They decide to split up and see if destiny brings them back together... Many years later, having lost each other that night, both are engaged to be married to their respective lovers. But will they unite again to be together forever? Will a Christmas shopping bring them back to the shop where they had first discovered each other?

5. The House without a Christmas Tree

Story: It's Christmas and the sweet little girl Addie wants nothing more for the holidays than a beautiful Christmas tree. But her widowed father refuses due to events from the family's past.

Finally, Addie wins a school contest and is awarded a Christmas tree which she brings home. This is not well received by James. The engaging story starts from here revolving around the little daughter and her father.
