Although it's a rare occurrence, Paris Hilton got a little shy in front of the camera at London's Mahiki nightclub – as she reportedly locked herself in the bathroom for 20 minutes to avoid the wild camera flashes.

The 28-year-old said, "I didn't expect this much attention, I just came to show my support for Guy's charity," according to Daily Mail columnist Nathan Kay.

Paris was there with boy toy Doug Reinhardt, sharing a table with Kelly Osbourne and her fiancé Luke Worrall.

Everyone was excited to see Paris. One source says, "When Paris was entering the club there were so many camera, she wasn't expecting it and it upset her. Once camera smacked her in the face and she just needed a bit of time to compose herself."

Hilton's rep spoke about the lock up incident, stating, "Paris is over for just two days just to spend time with Dougie, she's not doing any work and keeping a low profile."

A low profile is not something very common with Paris, but apparently it was what she wanted.
