Obsession is the morbid persistence of an idea in one's mind widout his will or thinking bout a particular thing alwayz i.e even if he tries not to think bout it hez helpless & Possessiveness means unwilling 2 share wat one has wid others
for example:lyk if u alwayz think of internet where ever u r & spending abt 8-10 hrs on it...this shows dat u r obsessed bout Internet {I hope m not making u more confused...}
If u hate ur near & dear ones talking wid ur frnds or being too frndly wid neone else...it meanz u r Possessive

obsession...usually taken in a negative context universally,almost equals insanity,or a type of mental disorder(in med terms i guess)!!!
and possiveness.... its used in a more positive sense....
n possesiveness overdone= obsession so that's -ve again!!! in simpl lingo!!!
