I live in a small but developed town & there is this cousin of mine who lives in Calcutta which is a metropolitan,now the prb is dat wenever she is on a visit 2 us she tries 2 prove us INFERIOR thru her comments like she says dat people of this city look like villagers,tey r outdated etc. I don't wanna argue wid her but it really hurts.

Are you or the people INFERIOR? Its not so much what the cousin thinks, but what do you think that matters.

If she has problem with people of this city then she should not visit this city.

In this case i think you need to show tat cousin of yours that how metros hav gradually built up frm small villages, town or cities only..tell her tat in metro u hav inherited the readymade culture whereas in small villages, town or cities, people do come on their own whether its a matter of looks, lifestyles or watever else..

and ys tats true..wat matters is own's thinking...but u r right..if it hurts...u need to explain her once..and show the reality
