Pussycat Dolls style lingerie show in Japan

The Pussycat Dolls' lingerie, designed by Robin Antin, was out for display during a presentation by Japanese lingerie maker Peach John on Friday. Produced by White Laundry, "Shhh...by Robin Antin" is described as fashion-forward designed with lavish fabrics imported from Italy and Spain. The lingerie line is an attempt by Robin Antin to capitalise on the Pussycat Dolls fame. And hence - this sexy clothing line. Photo: AFP

The line, which has already received rave reviews during L.A. Fashion Week earlier this year, features an updated "vintage silhouette with styles that range from girlishly flirtatious to red-hot glamorous." According to Antin, "Inside every woman lives a Pussycat Doll." Robin Antin introduced her lingerie collection called, "Shhh...by Robin Antin" in the fall of 2008. The collection was reportedly built on the unprecedented success of her burlesque troupe, presently consisting of Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, and the women who love The Pussycat Dolls. Robin Antin is a dancer, choreographer, music video director, actress, clothing designer and entrepreneur from the United States. In 1995 in Los Angeles she founded the modern burlesque troupe - The Pussycat Dolls. By 2005, she had diversified into various media including: an R&B recording group with international hits, a Las Vegas nightclub venue and floorshow, various merchandise and a reality TV series. The band consists of lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Melody Thornton and Jessica Sutta. The group originated during 1995 as a burlesque troupe based in Los Angeles, California. The Pussycat Dolls achieved worldwide success in 2005 with their album PCD, which debuted at number five on the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart and produced the successful singles Don't Cha, Buttons, and Stickwitu, a song that earned the group a Grammy Award nomination.
