 Soft hands and bright nails
If your nails need brightening and have stains on them, this will help... Dip a nail brush, or a clean toothbrush in a mixture of equal parts lemon juice, white vinegar (to lift stains), and warm water. Gently brush the nails and leave the solution on the nails for 60 seconds and rinse...
If your hands are in desperate need of some healing from the torture you put them through, read on... This is a lemon "paste" that will penetrate dry, chapped, skin. Mix 1 tablespoon lemon juice with 1 tablespoon honey, and one cup of oatmeal. Mix it into a paste and load the mixture onto clean hands. Cover with cotton gloves or cotton socks for 20 minutes. Rinse well and apply a hand cream... Soften cuticles with this citrus cuticle smoother... Soak fingertips in 1 cup of lukewarm water and the juice of 1/2 lemon. Within 5 minutes the ragged edges of your cuticles will soften so you can smooth them with a washcloth. Gently push back the cuticles and apply a moisturizing hand cream or vitamin E oil...
