Ten Bollywood stars who deserve the boot

Let's face it! The slowdown has wiped thousands of businesses off the map and firms worldwide are looking to cut some unnecessary flab. But Bollywood seems to be inflating into an industry that can no longer sustain the costs involved - not even the complimentary vada pav.

There were rumours that today's film crews are following the good ol' BYOB (bring your own breakfast) rule and the starlet's trailer double up as the on-set fire fighting vehicle!

So, as a responsible movie website, and being the kind of people who care for genuine talent ignored, here's a list of 10 celebrities who need to be thrown out of the business - for the greater good!

The criteria for a pink slip here is a severe lack of talent, a lack of range, zero on-screen presence, trashy fan following and, yes, disastrous acting!

Hurman' Baweja

Everything was wrong about his debut. A crappy movie, trashy special effects, the comparison to Hrithik and a hugely successful girlfriend - who dumped him soon after! Hurman's debut will go down in history as one of Bollywood's darkest hours. His second attempt at fame was the ironically titled Victory - let's not even go there!

Daddy Baweja should have let him continue college because the only way junior would have made it to a movie set on his own was if he were doing the catering!
A zero for acting, zero screen presence, zero fan following and, yes, the inability to tell a good plot from something like Love Story 2050, which looked like a North Korean remake of a Spielberg spectacle.

Amrita Arora

A case of the talentless younger sister! Malaika Arora's younger sister has not had a single substantial hit to her name since the Triassic era! Most of us wonder how the sister got into Bollywood in the first place - guess she had a free pass.

Many even believe Amrita remains an average in the looks department, too, something the actress is going to trash with her bikini shot in Kambakht Ishq and we hope to God it helps. But we rather she gets out of her sister's shadow and proves it out in the heat!

Tusshar Kapoor

Ekta Kapoor's brother should have tried anything that does not involve a camera! There are so many of his so-called hits that would have done better without him. Golmaal Returns was just the right amount of 'fine' with Shreyas Talpade, Arshad Warsi and Ajay Devgan leading the attack and Shootout at Lokhandwala could have saved on some ketchup without this on-screen defect.

Tusshar will be remembered for being the sore thumb, an anomaly in casting and the reason you suffer from road rage when returning from the cinema!

Nisha Kothari

Ram Gopal Verma's icing on all the disasters! Nisha Kothari seems to have beaten the crap out of some good old Bollywood glam, turning it into a vulgar buffet for zombies instead of moviegoers. The problem with her is a case of programming when the poor girl hasn't really switched off the item number mode! You could almost hear the crappy music when she delivers her lines and the disco lights playing during an emotional scene. If Ram Gopal Verma ki Aag went up in flames, she's the one who left the 'gas' on!
