We have always heard of similar sounding names, so we took a look at Hollywood and found a whole lot of actresses who share a similar sounding name Kate… we guess they should have a city to themselves.

Catherine Zeta Jones:

Who doesn't know Ms. Jones? She definitely made her mark as a versatile actor with films like The Legend of Zorro, The Terminal and many others. Be it drama or action this chick has done it all and with ease. From being a daughter of a manager in a candy factory, trained in dance and singing she has come a long way.

Cate Blanchett:

Amid wide critical acclaim for her role in the 1998 motion picture Elizabeth, Cate Blanchett burst onto the American scene with a Golden Globe win, a British Academy Award, and an Oscar nomination. While she missed out an Oscar nomination despite her well-received performances in Charlotte Gray and Bandits - the latter of which earned her Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild nominations -- Blanchett definitely endeared herself to audiences with her role as Galadriel in the Oscar-nominated Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring.

Later Blanchett found herself in Heaven, a compelling motion picture which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival.

In the film, Blanchett portrays an English teacher named Philippa who falls in love with a police officer after her plot to kill her late husband's heroin dealer goes awry. And not forgetting her latest addition to the Elizabeth series.

Kate Moss:

She's known as one of the most beautiful and controversial supermodels to ever walk the ramp. From her famously emaciated frame she helped personify what came to be known as the "waif" or "heroin-chic" look to her romantic dalliances with famous actors (Billy Zane and ex-fiancृ Johnny Depp among them) and a decidedly rocky film career, English-born २९-year-old Katherine Moss has gone from being a striking young girl who was discovered in a New York airport to one of the world's most recognized faces.

But of late Moss is spending less time in front of the cameras and more with Lila, her daughter with boyfriend Jefferson Hack. Asked to define beauty in a recent online interview, Moss didn't hesitate with her response.

"I can only think of Lila," she said. "My daughter is the most beautiful thing to me."

Kate Hudson:

Gone are the days when people questioned whether actress Kate Hudson would be able to fill the footprints of her famous acting mom, Goldie Hawn. With her Oscar-nominated role in Almost Famous and notable funny-girl turns in films like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, the 24-year-old is already demonstrating a breadth of talent that is equally comfortable in a comic or dramatic setting.

Director Garry Marshall helped Hudson find a balance between both with Raising Helen, which the actress recently described as a "dramedy." "It's more of a slice-of-life type of movie," she said. "It's a movie about relationships and life and how you deal with things that come your way, and the importance of family."

While her own family couldn't be prouder, Hudson is fashioning her genetic pedigree into something she can truly call her own.

Katie Holmes:

Playing too-cute-for-words teen Joey Potter on Dawson's Creek didn't seem like much of a stretch for Katie Holmes, who was just finishing up her own cute teen years when the show became a breakout hit for the WB Network after its debut in 1998. But the Ohio native was soon impressing fans and critics alike with her choice of film roles, from the edgy and disillusioned Claire Montgomery in the 1999 flick Go to the prim Southerner Jessica King in 2000's spooky hit The Gift.

The 24-year-old took the reins as the leading lady in the romantic comedy First Daughter. "I would like to do more comedy," Holmes had said in an interview. "I just haven't had the opportunity."

With her diverse list of credits growing every year, it would seem that in the future, opportunity will be the last thing Katie Holmes will be lacking. And now that she's hooked up with the Cruise boy we guess most of her life is pretty sorted.
