My story is very simple.
It was arranged.
It was in India. Both from other side of the world.
Total strangers, was not prepare for this at all.
Both families came, both of us said yes right there and then.
Lots of people got shock with this specially relatives.
And then our real story started and its still going.

Heres my story...

I was at the mall with some friends when I saw my cousin. I pushed him and said "Hey you little Sh*t, where were you last weekend, you were supoosed to...." He turned around and Oh God! Someone shoot me!! It wasn't my cousin at all!! It was the most gorgeous man I had ever seen in all my life and I just called him a little sh*t!! What an idiot!

His reply was "Sorry I didn't visit you at the loony bin last weekend crazy lady but my community service is finished now!!" He was with a group of friends and they all laughed at me walked away!! I could've died right there!!

I saw him again that very weekend at my friends little sisters 21st birthday party. Turns out he was... Wait for it... My friends, big brothers, friends, cousin... What a mouthful.
As soon as I walked in I heard "Hey you guys look, its the crazy lady from the mall!!"
Once the roar of laughter had died and I was done bowing and waving at everyone, he saved me and said thanks for being a good sport. We stuck together all night that night. We even fell asleep together... Just slept totally innocent and had our first date the weekend after..

I cant say in words how much good i feel describing this.

I met my man over internet..Nah nah wasnt a typical net affair. It was well arranged and all prepared sort of net arrangement. Yeah, that was through shaadi.com, the famous marriage portal. Viewing pictures and profiles, never gave me a thought that i would once end up there only, without meeting, without knowing, without viewing in personal. the idea sounded so fake and unreal to me, when my di suggested the same initially.

But with the passage of time, i encountered with many who were just, not convincing people to my mind or heart, and obviously things were vice a versa.
So away from rigid family choices, i made up mind to make it on my own and family supported too. with the help of my elder sis, i started taking matches over shaadi.com seriously and met few personally too. Believe me, as a typical mind frame over such marriage portals, i dont think everybody just hangs around there and do time pass. i met few very serious people, with this modern approach.

So with such scannings and meets, once i met my betterhalf and things gradually started taking shape. Again it wasnt just few chats or emails and we made it. Vishal and me, being very apart, brough our family in between, forwarded eachother's choices, took their opinions and they just planted confindence in us.

Unusual thing was our wedding got fixed, even without a single personal meet. You can say we utilised the time, game enough time to just nurture the perfect decision, through the blessings of elders.

And without wasting time and resources, we made it a good wedding, tied knots and now with 2 months completion, still safe and sound with eachother...

So, typically it sounded like an arranged marriage but we made our own personal choices and are proud of it.
