MTT Turbine Superbike Y2K-365 kmphMTT Turbine Superbike, also known as Y2K Turbine Superbike, is the world's second motorcycle to be powered by a turbine engine and has been created by Ted McIntyre of Marine Turbine Technologies Inc. This motorcycle is powered by a Rolls Royce Allison 250 series turboshaft engine which has a power output of 320bhp.
Such awesome power has also resulted in an amazing top speed 365 kmph. This superbike carries a price tag of US$150,000 (Rs 60 lakh) and is recognized by Guinness World Records as the "most powerful production motorcycle" and the "most expensive production motorcycle".
Unlike other contemporary motorcycles such as the Hayabusa, R1 etc manufactured after 2001, the MTT Turbine Superbike do not adhere to the 300 kmph speed limit that was self-imposed by Japanese manufacturers to ensure safety.
